We are thrilled to announce that Claire Shubik-Richards, our executive director, has been appointed to join Philadelphia Mayor-Elect Cherelle Parker's Transition Team. Claire will serve as a member of the Public Safety subcommittee, joining a distinguished list of City leaders to ensure a smooth and seamless transition to City Hall.

Claire expressed her eagerness to contribute, stating, "We are delighted to be included among the organizations on Mayor-Elect Parker's transition team, working to make Philly the safest big city in America. The Prison Society is committed to making it happen. The first step: making Philadelphia's prisons safe.

We are exceptionally honored to have Claire representing The Prison Society and working alongside other community leaders to improve public safety in Philadelphia. With her experience and expertise, we are confident she will make a significant contribution to the team's efforts.
